HopON

What is HopOn?

HopOn is a games-based cycling program that teaches school-aged kids across Canada the joy of cycling safely. The Rundle Mountain Cycling Club will be offering HopOn programs as an introduction to cycling. HopOn is a great entry to the sport of cycling!

Modeled after Cycling BC’s existing iRide program, the HopOn national grassroots program aims to provide access to cycling across Canada.

HopOn embraces C.Y.C.L.E.S; values to create meaningful and fun cycling experiences for all participants. Here's what drives us:

Community: Building a nationwide network of support and collaboration to foster a healthy sporting environment.
Youth: Focusing on the positive, joyful development of children—keeping the spirit of play alive.
Captivating: Immersing participants in the simple joys of outdoor fun and bike riding.
Learning: Ensuring every session leaves participants with new skills and the confidence to apply them.

Excellence: Encouraging instructors and participants alike to bring their best effort to every session.
Safety: Prioritizing the health and well-being of everyone involved in HopOn activities.

HopOn is about more than cycling—it's about connecting, growing, and thriving on two wheels
