Program Highlights

  • PMBIA Certified Coaches ensuring safe and effective learning.

  • Focus: FUN, friends, games, and prizes.

  • Ride locations like Canmore Nordic Centre, Quarry Lake, and Benchlands.

Pre-Camp Checklist

Bike Requirements:

  • Front suspension highly recommended.

  • Minimum 16” wheels, no coaster brakes (two working hand brakes required).

  • Proper size for the rider.

  • Recent bike tune-up or attend the RMCC Pre-Camp BBQ & Bike Tune-Up Event!

Equipment Essentials:

  • Properly fitted bike helmet (no hockey/climbing helmets).

  • Bike gloves, athletic shoes, rain jacket, hydration pack/snacks, and personal items.

Skill & Rider Profile

Your child should be:

  • Comfortable maneuvering their bike and balancing.

  • Exploring brake use and gear-shifting techniques.

  • Eager to try green trails, berms, roots, and rocks while refining their skills.

Fitness & Temperament

  • Active in various sports.
